Meet the Team: Ruby Aliment

My name is Ruby Aliment and I’m an attorney here at Bergman Oslund Udo Little. I graduated from Seattle University School of Law and have mostly practiced here since then. I have represented people in asbestos and mesothelioma claims, products liability cases, sex abuse cases, medical malpractice cases. I’ve done some class actions, I’ve even done the slip and fall. I’ve done essentially every type of case that you as an individual or your family member might bring against another entity for an injury caused by someone else’s wrong doing your negligence.

I love representing my clients because they are folks who are brave enough to come forward and tell me their stories and to trust me with their stories and together we get to take on some of the most powerful entities in this state and in this country, you know in a criminal case what you can achieve is that you can maybe get somebody put in prison or you just get your story told in front of a jury and that can feel really impactful and like justice.

The Civil Justice System and what we can provide for you is compensation and I find that to be a type of remedy that actually changes people’s lives in a way that putting someone in prison often doesn’t achieve and in many cases people are injured through the wrongdoing of others and the criminal justice system can’t do anything to help them with that.
