Benjamin Couture

Attorney Benjamin R. Couture takes great pride in representing individuals and families affected by asbestos-related disease, such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis. Ben has devoted the majority of his legal career to representing the victims of asbestos. He began his legal practice with a national plaintiffs’ law firm based in Dallas, Texas, where he eventually assumed responsibility for the management of the firm’s entire Pacific Northwest docket of asbestos cases. In 2007, Ben and his family moved to the Pacific Northwest, where he joined Bergman Draper & Frockt in order to continue representing people afflicted with asbestos-related diseases. A skilled and thorough advocate, Ben has achieved numerous substantial settlements on behalf of his clients.

Ben received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he studied English and sociology. He received his law degree in 2003 from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. While practicing in Texas, Ben was nominated to membership in the Leadership Class of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.  In 2010, Ben was named a “Rising Star” by Washington Law and Politics magazine. He is licensed to practice law in Washington and Texas.

Your company has been working on my family’s behalf for over two years now. As with anyone we love who is no longer with us, we try to remember all of the good times. With my father, that is the case, and even with his passing from a very harsh cancer, I am blessed to be helped out by your company.
